Once you've registered and signed in, simply find your calling destination on the website. You'll now see a form on each Country page - just enter your number into it and submit - we'll do the rest!

The 08/09 number you receive from Map Your Mumber will be charged from just 3p a minute, regardless of the time of your call. Your number will be confirmed to you via email, and a follow-up email will be sent to state that the number is ready to be used.

How does it work?

Instead of just dialing the overseas number directly, call your dedicated 08/09 number - it's as easy as that!

When you register your number with Map Your Number, you need to provide us with the full number, including the international access code, the country code and the area code where necessary. For example, to call a number in Berlin this would be 0049 123456.

Save a minimum of 16p per minute!

The call will appear on your bill, but your mapped 08/09 number will be displayed rather than the international number you called. You will also see that you will have been charged from 3p a minute for the call rather than the usual 19p per minute BT charges to call Germany - a minimum saving of 16p per minute!

Too good to be true?

It sounds almost too good to be true, doesn't it? Perhaps you're thinking "Where's the catch?" Well, there isn't one! We're able to charge you from only 3p a minute for every international call you make to Germany, simply by diverting your call via our own internet network and therefore not having to pay for the use of BT's international telephone system. All we ask is that you make use of your mapped number after it has been registered and activated.

Our mapped numbers will also work when international call barring is activated on your phone - as you're dialling a UK number, the phone will not see that you're actually calling an international number!
